A scanned photo or digital camera snapshot of the actual project site was customer-provided and downloaded over the internet. The real image and a 2D line drawing imported from the clients dwg files are overlaid and merged using a desktop publishing program. The trace layer was colored per the customers specifications and printed on a color inkjet printer.
